The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee reported out Senate Bill 1102 (Gordner-R-Columbia) that would implement the $250 million bond issue approved by voters. A one word technical amendment was made to the bill. Both Senators White and Musto said the bill would likely be amended.

This is the last piece of the economic development stimulus package.

Bond issue implementing legislation was also introduced in the House this week– House Bill 2690 (Weber-R-Montgomery) and House Bill 2693 (Tangretti-D-Westmoreland).

House Bill 2690 is scheduled to be considered by the House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee June 16.
