Nominating Pennsylvania Educators for NAAEE Awards by June 15

The Awards Committee of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) invites nominations for the nine prestigious annual awards that will be presented at the Association's annual conference being held this year in Biloxi, Mississippi from November 6-10.

All nominations should be submitted by Tuesday, June 15th, 2004 to: Caroline Alston at calston@plt.org .

This is your opportunity to recognize individuals and organizations in Pennsylvania (and beyond) that excel in EE and who deserve wider recognition for their accomplishments.

Outstanding Service to EE by an Individual at the Local Level, Outstanding Service to EE by an Individual at the Regional Level Outstanding Service to EE by an Individual at the Global Level

Outstanding Service to EE by an Organization at the Local Level Outstanding Service to EE by an Organization at the Regional Level Outstanding Service to EE by an Organization at the Global Level Outstanding Affiliate (state/provincial EE associations) Outstanding Contributions to Research in EE The Walter E Jeske Award (for outstanding service to the NAAEE).

The task of preparing and submitting by email a nomination of a deserving individual or organization doesn’t take long. Apart from providing the name address of the nominee, you should briefly describe their accomplishments and why you believe that the accomplishments represent distinguished service to the cause of EE or to EE research.
