DEP Invites Comments on Proposed TMDL Watershed Cleanup Plans

The Department of Environmental Protection is inviting public comments on Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Plans for three watersheds in five counties(PA Bulletin page 5500)

Beech Creek Watershed, Clearfield County: DEP will hold a public meeting on the proposed plan October 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beech Creek Borough Building, Beech Creek, Pa. Contact: John Mital 814-342-8200 or send email to:jmital@state.pa.us. Comments due: December 4.

Narrows Creek Watershed, Clearfield & Elk Counties:DEP will hold a public meeting on the proposed TMDL October 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Moshannon District Office in Ebensburg, Pa. Contact: Scott Heidel 717-787-1421 or send email to:jeorr@state.pa.us. Comments due: December 4.

Crooked Creek Watershed, Armstrong & Indiana Counties: DEP said it will hold a public meeting on the proposed TMDL, but gave no date or location. Contact: Travis Stoe 717-772-2284. Comments due: December 3.
