PUC Announces More Details On November 13 Hearing On Alternative Energy, Conservation

The Public Utility Commission this week announced more details on a special public hearing November 13 to gather information on alternative energy resources, energy conservation and efficiency, and demand side response tools and programs to assist consumers. The hearing will solicit comments from parties on topics in aspecific list of questionsreleased by the Commission. As part of the informal en banc hearing process explained inthe secretarial letterissued Friday, the five PUC Commissioners will question the speakers after their testimony. Interested parties have until October 15 to notify the Commission if they wish to testify or provide comments at the hearing. The hearing will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Hearing Room 1 of the Commonwealth Keystone Building in Harrisburg. The public is welcome to attend. This hearing is not an adversarial proceeding, and companies may be represented by a partner, bona fide officer, or employee of the company in lieu of an attorney. |
