Together, the 226 Climate Leaders members represent more than 10 percent of the U.S. gross domestic product and have pledged GHG reductions equivalent to the emissions of nine million cars annually.

Seven companies were recognized this week for having achieved their significant GHG reduction goals over the last four to five years, and four of these companies have also made new commitments to reduce their GHG emissions. The companies include one Pennsylvania firm-- Mack Trucks Inc.

Other Climate Leaders in Pennsylvania include: Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., PPG Industries, Alcoa, SKF USA, U.S. Steel, Mack Trucks, Wilton Armetale, Mantria Corporation and the ACE Group.
