PA Professional Geologists To Hold Underground Storage Tank Town Hall Meetings

The PA Council of Professional Geologists will hold two town hall meetings on October 21 in Pittsburgh and on November 4 in King of Prussiato discuss recent administrative changes in the Underground Storage Tank Program.

Three significant changes will be discussed, including the Department of Environmental Protection's new short list of gasoline/diesel compounds, USTIF's Workplan approach and the advent of competitive bidding. An objective is to create an intimate forum for candiddiscussions.

Questions and/or comments may be submitted to PCPG in advance of the meeting, which will provide a platform for the discussions.

Jim Miceli of DEP's Underground Storage Tank Program will be in attendance to directly address your questions and comments. Questions will not be limited to these three topics so feel free to ask for clarification in any areas of the program.

The agendas for these events and registration information are available online.
