The Department of Environmental Protection is inviting comments on Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) Plans in two watersheds in Allegheny, Washington and Westmoreland counties.

Peters Creek Watershed, Allegheny & Washington Counties: DEP will hold a public meeting on October 29 at 10:30 at the California District Office, Coal Center, Pa to accept comments on the TMDL plan. Comments due: December 25. Contact: Jennifer Orr 717-772-5670 or send email to:jeorr@state.pa.us.

Turtle Creek Watershed, Allegheny & Westmoreland Counties: DEP will hold a public meeting on October 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Westinghouse Castle, 325 Commerce St., Wilmerdling, Pa. to accept comments on the TMDL plan. Comments due: December 25. Contact: Jennifer Orr 717-772-5670 or send email to:jeorr@state.pa.us.
