PUC Releases Agenda For November 6 Hearing On Wholesale Electricity Markets

The Public Utility Commission this week released the final agenda for a special public hearing scheduled for November 6, to discuss the current and future wholesale electricity markets.

A copy of the agenda is available online.

The five PUC Commissioners will conduct the en banc hearing to solicit comments from the American Public Power Association, the Electricity Consumers Resource Council, Alcoa Inc., the law firm of McNees, Wallace and Nurick, and Kenneth Rose, Ph.D., an independent energy consultant. A formal agenda for the hearing is now available.

As part of the informal, en banc hearing process, Commissioners will pose questions to the speakers after their comments.

The hearing will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Hearing Room 1 of the Commonwealth Keystone Building in Harrisburg.
