The Pennsylvania Parks and Forest Foundation is now accepting nominations for its annual awards program. Nominations are due December 12.

With the exemplary work being done in parks and forests—by both staff and volunteers—to improve Pennsylvania’s quality of life and to protect our natural assets for future generations, PPFF aims to remind Pennsylvanians of the importance of parks and forests.

Awards include:Pa. Parks and Forests Foundation Keystone Legacy Award;Pa. Parks and Forests Government Award;Park of the Year;Forest of the Year;Friends Groups Awards;Volunteerism Award;Improvement Award; andEducation Award
