Local Historic Preservation Grants Available From State Historical and Museum Commission
The Historical and Museum Commission is now accepting applications for one of three grants to help preserve local history.
 
Certified Local Government Grants are competitive and matching grants to a maximum of $15,000 to help fund cultural resource surveys, National Register nominations, technical and planning assistance, educational and interpretive programs, staffing and training. The deadline for applications is January 12.
 
The Keystone Historic Preservation Grant program for sites in or eligible for National Register of Historic Places provides grants up to a maximum of $100,000. The deadline for applications is May 1.
 
The PA History and Museum Grants provide funding for technical assistance or project grants for archives and records management, local history or historic preservation planning and programs to a maximum of $15,000. The deadline for applications is December 1.
