The Department of Environmental Protection this week invited comments on Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) water quality plans for watersheds in four counties: Clarion, Columbia, Fayette and Luzerne. The watersheds include:

Brush Run, Gathers Run, Reid Run Watersheds, Clarion County:DEP will hold a public meeting December 16 at the Knox District Office in Knox, Pa starting at 9:00 a.m. to answer questions and take comments. Glade Run Watershed, Fayette County:DEP will hold a public meeting January 14 at 6 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 888 North Gallatin Ave. Extension, Uniontown to answer questions and take comments.
