The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources published notice of fee increase for commercial activity agreements by the Bureau of Forestry. DEP published a proposed policy change for landfill permitting criteria and rescinded a policy related to drinking water laboratory reporting.

Draft DEP ID: 275-2101-007. Best Available Technology and Other Permitting Criteria for Municipal Solid Waste Landfills. This technical guidance document, formerly titled ''Landfill Permitting Criteria'', is issued under the authority of section 6.6(c) of the Air Pollution Control Act (35 P. S. ˜˜ 4001--4015) and 25 Pa. Code ˜˜ 127.1 and 127.12(a)(5) (relating to purpose; and content of applications). Comments due: January 13.

Policy Recinded: DEP ID: 383-3301-305. Laboratory Reporting Instruction for Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs) in Public Drinking Water Systems. Technical guidance document 383-3301-305 is being rescinded by the Department as it has been replaced with a more recent guidance document (technical guidance document number 383-3301-306: Laboratory Reporting Instructions for Disinfectant Residuals, Disinfection Byproducts and Precursors), which became effective at 38 Pa.B. 405 (January 19, 2008).
