The December issue of the Environmental Synopsis published by the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee features a review of just a few of the issues faced by Pennsylvania during 2008.

Other issues discussed include: coal-fired power plants, economic benefits of energy efficiency, climate change in Kansas and herbicides in groundwater.

Rep. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) serves as Chair and Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne) serves as Vice Chair of the Committee.
