Westmoreland County Conservation District Upcoming Education Programs

Homeowners, high school students, engineers, farmers, contractors, woodlot owners, pond and well owners and just about anyone interested in using our natural resources wisely can find a program of interest from the Westmoreland Conservation District’s new 2009 education workshop lineup.
The programs include:
-- January 23 -- Commercial building and Highway Construction BMPs;
-- January 28 -- Southwest Regional Tillage Conference
-- March 28 -- Forestry II Workshop;
-- March 5, 6 -- Engineers' Workshop;
-- April 7 -- Drinking Water Clinic; and
-- May 9 -- Pond Management Workshop.
All programs are open to the public and, while some are geared to specific audiences or an advanced level of technical expertise, anyone is welcome to attend. Most programs require registration and have a nominal fee.
