Host Municipality Inspector Reimbursement Requests Due March 31

The Department of Environmental Protection this week set March 31 as the deadline for municipalities to submit Host Municipality Inspector Reimbursement applications covering 2008.

 

Under Acts 101 and 108, municipalities hosting certain waste disposal facilities are entitled to hire their own inspector to provide independent oversight on the facilities. Grants provide for the reimbursement of a portion of the inspection costs.
