Call For Papers: Business Of Brownfields Conference Set For April 16-17
The Western PA Brownfields Partnership has issued a call for papers for its Business of Brownfields Conference to be held in Pittsburgh April 16-17.
 
The Partnership includes the Engineers' Society of Western PA, Western PA Brownfields Center at Carnegie Mellon University and the Western PA Brownfield Forum.
This brownfields conference is looking for experience and research-based presentations from stakeholders who are concerned with the assessment, cleanup and reuse of abandoned, idled or under-used commercial and industrial sites.
 
If you have information to help others overcome the challenges associated with these properties, The "Business of Brownfields" is the place for you to present and share your experience.
The program will feature the main actions of brownfields development:Planning,Public Health/Institutional Controls,Marketing & Finance,Working within Legal/Regulatory Framework,
Site Characterization,Site Remediation, andSustainability
 
We encourage you to submit your presentation to be considered as a:Session Speaker - A 15-20 Minute presentation during a 60-90 minute session,Panel Session - A 60-90 Minute presentation with 4-5 panelists organized to discuss the proposed topic,Poster Presenter - A stand-alone visual representation of research for display in the central area of the conference
 
The submittal process is simple. Just complete the online form and provide a short abstract.
