The January issue of Environmental Synopsis is now available online from the Joint Legislative Air and Water Pollution Control and Conservation Committee.

This month the Synopsis features articles on radon, brownfields reuse, promoting energy efficiency, source water and infrastructure issues, greenhouse gas reduction and regulating carbon.

The Committee also has two special events coming up: February 9 - Environmental Issues Forum on the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership and February 12 the Committee's Forestry Task Force.

The Joint Committee chair is Rep. Scott Hutchinson (R-Venango) and the vice-chair is Sen. Ray Musto (D-Luzerne).
