Wildlands Conservancy Hosts the Banff Mountain Film Festival March 8
Join the Wildlands Conservancy when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to the Lehigh Valley, at Parkland High School on March 8.

Hot on the heels of the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour has hit the road, with stops planned in about 285 communities and 30 countries across the globe. Films start at 6:00 p.m.

The Lehigh Valley screening, consisting of award-winning films on kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, environmental issues and films about the human spirit, raises funds for Wildlands Conservancy. Also, it corresponds to the Conservancy’s belief that through enjoyment of outdoor recreational activities appreciation grows for preserving and protecting our natural resources.

Last year over 1,000 people attended.

The evening will be packed with fun and the spirit of the great outdoors! Local organizations that promote outdoor recreation will provide material to attendees and Olympus will be present showcasing the latest trends in cameras for attendees to try out.

Come and see the new Stylus Tough series cameras- they are shockproof, waterproof, freezeproof and crushproof to handle whatever life throws at you while capturing it all. For the more experienced photographer, try out the one-of-a-kind E-30 with all of its unique Art Filters and Multiple Exposure features.

Tickets on sale now, online at at the Wildlands Conservancy website or at Nestor’s Sporting Goods, MacArthur Road, Whitehall. Tickets are $15 in advance; $18 at the door.
