Bioenergy Crop Reduction: House Bill 136 (Brooks-R-Crawford) providing for the reclamation of mined lands for the purpose of bioenergy crop production.
AEPS Impacts: House Bill 146 (Solobay-D-Washington) directing the Public Utility Commission, in cooperation with the Department of Environmental Protection, to conduct a study of the anticipated economic, energy and environmental impacts of the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act.
Reforestation: House Bill 180 (Haluska-D-Cambria) requiring the use of 10 percent of timber harvest revenues on game lands to be used in reforestation.
Hybrid Tax Exemption: House Bill 191 (Preston-D-Allegheny) excluding the purchase of hybrid and electric vehicles from sales tax.
Oil And Gas Clean And Green: House Bill 208 (Godshall-R-Montgomery) allowing for the splitting off of oil and gas drilling areas on farmland preserved under the Clean and Green preferential assessment program.
Prescribed Burning: House Bill 262 (Haluska-D-Cambria) enacting the Prescribed Burning Practices Act to encourage the use of prescribed burning for fuel reduction and forest and grassland purposes.
