DEP Inviting Comments On TMDL Plans In 3 Watersheds, Including West Branch Susquehanna
The Department of Environmental Protection is inviting public comments on Total Maximum Daily Load watershed plans and correcting a comment deadline for watersheds in Armstrong, Clarion, Clearfield, Fayette, Forest in Jefferson counties. They include:

Ferguson Run Watershed, Fayette County: DEP will hold a public meeting to answer questions and accept comments March 5 starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Greensburg District Mining Office. Contact: Scott Heidel at 717-787-1421 or send email to: scheidel@state.pa.us.

Deer Creek, Redbank Creek in Armstrong, Clarion, Forest and Jefferson Counties: DEP is providing notice correcting the closing date on comments for this TMDL. The correct date is April 1. Contact Elias Heferle at 814-797-1101 or send email to: eheferle@state.pa.us with questions.

West Branch Susquehanna River, Clearfield County: DEP and the Susquehanna River Basin Commission will hold a public meeting to answer questions and accept comments on March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Clearfield County Conservation District, 650 Leonard St., Clearfield. Contact: Bill Brown at 717-783-2051.
