Energy Auditing Subject Of Energy Roundtable Meeting March 5 In Erie
Uncovering the most cost-effective energy improvement projects through the use of energy audits and thermal imaging are two topics the Energy Roundtable will tackle during its next quarterly meeting at 9 a.m. March 5 at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Dr., Erie.

"Affordable and reliable energy is essential to the long-term health of the U.S. economy and the prosperity of American workers," said Association Director of Government Affairs Sheila Sterrett. "This is a unique opportunity for large energy users to gather and share information."

The Energy Roundtable was formed in 2007 to help business, industry and other large energy users (such as schools and health-care facilities) in northwest Pennsylvania reduce energy costs through improved energy management, energy efficiency and cutting-edge technology.

The group was initiated through a collaborative effort of the Manufacturer & Business Association, the NW PA Industrial Resource Center, the Department of Environmental Protection, National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation, Penelec and the NW Rural Electric Cooperative.

Registration for the March 5 meeting begins at 8:45 a.m., with the program running from 9 a.m. to noon. The agenda for the meeting includes: using energy audits to save you money and the use of IR thermal imaging in energy auditing

To register, call 814 456-6299, fax 814 459-6058 or send email to: jmiller@nwirc.org. There is no charge for the event.
