PA Solar Energy Conference Set For May 6-7 In State College
The 2009 Pennsylvania Solar Energy Conference, sponsored by the Penn State Center for Sustainability and other partners, will be held on May 6-7 at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College.
 
The conference will focus on several topics--
 
-- new economic incentives that have improved the viability and business case for solar power in the Northeast;
 
-- new business opportunities and the potential workforce development challenges faced in rebuilding the economy; and
 
-- impacts of new technologies on the deployment of residential and commercial scale solar photovoltaic systems.
 
Government officials, financial institutions, builders, developers, code officials, economic development professionals and community organizations should plan to attend.
