Penn State's Cooperative Extension Service will host three online webinars on the topic of natural gas exploration in Pennsylvania's Marcellus Shale formation.

The webinars will be held on March 18, April 16 and May 21 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. each day.

The topics covered in the programs include the role of local governments, the effects of deep well drilling methods on water supplies and landowner responsibilities.

Register for the event online or visit the Natural Gas webpage of the Cooperative Extension Service. Pleasesign in for all seminars 10-15 minutes before the scheduled viewing time to verify audio and video connectivity.
