DEP To Announce Availability Of Energy Conservation Financial Help March 2

The Department of Environmental Protection Acting Secretary John Hanger is scheduled to announce the agency will begin accepting applications for energy conservation projects for homeowners and small businesses on March 2.

 

$237 million will be made available to help families and small businesses to conserve electricity and manage higher energy prices under Special Session House Bill 1 (DePasquale-D-York) passed last July.

 

DEP established stakeholder groups in October to help develop guidelines for the program.
