Register Now For The Great American Cleanup of PA April 25 - May 9

Time to think about organizing your watershed, roadside, park or community cleanup to be part of the Great American Cleanup of PA, this year running from April 25 to May 9.
 
The primary organizers of the Cleanup are Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, and all its partners, and the departments of Environmental Protection and Transportation.
 
Registering your cleanup event has many benefits including access to free cleanup supplies, free trash disposal at participating waste facilities, training on how to run a cleanup event safely and much more.
 
In 2008 175,200 people took part in 4,801 cleanup projects across the state cleaning up 21,653 miles of roadways,10,822 acres of park land, collecting 10.5 million pounds of trash. They also planted 10,077 trees, flowers and bulbs. (Full report online)
