Pittsburgh Teens To Debut Original Environmental Films At C.A.U.S.E Film Festival April 23
Pittsburgh's young filmmakers will debut their original environmental-oriented documentaries at the 5th Annual C.A.U.S.E. Challenge High School Film Festival at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.

Finalists are competing for more than $10,000 in cash and other prizes for themselves and their schools.
Sponsored by Bayer Corporation, Carnegie Science Center's Regional SciTech Initiative and Pittsburgh Filmmakers, C.A.U.S.E. stands for Creating Awareness and Understanding of our Surrounding Environment.

The competition provides a platform for high school students who are not necessarily on a science track to become more scientifically and environmentally aware through the creative filmmaking process. Students develop their creative voice, advance skills such as researching, writing and speaking, and they build important science literacy skills like critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork.
