House Environmental Committee Sets Meeting on Advanced Portfolio Standards

The House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee is scheduled to meet on Tuesday to consider House Bill 2250 (Ross-R-Chester) that establishes an advanced energy portfolio standard. A significant amendment to the bill is expected.

Also on the Committee agenda is House Bill 296 (George-D-Clearfield) that establishes the PA Energy Office and Advisory Council; and imposing duties on the PA Energy Office; establishing the Emergency Energy Assistance Grant Account and makes an allocation from utilities' gross receipts tax.
