Students involved in environmental education score higher on standardized tests, tend to have higher grades and stay in school longer, according to a new report from the Environmental Education Association of Washington. “Report Card on the Status of Environmental Education in Washington State”

Pennsylvania has documented similar experiences through local initiatives like the Monagacci Program in the East Hills Middle School in Bethlehem.
