Learn To Assemble A Solar Photovoltaic Panel At May 2, May 3 Workshops
The Maine Solar Energy Association and DadSolar.com are sponsoring two one-day workshops on May 2, 3 in Pottstown to teach participants how to assemble a photovoltaic module for producing electricity.

The workshop will be held at TSD Environomic /Hidden River Outfitters, 57 E. Schuylkill Ave., Pottstown from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

In this workshop you will get to participate in assembling a 60-watt photovoltaic module, which is capable of charging 12 volt batteries and are a good start for a small home or cabin PV system.

John Burke, of DadSolar.com will be co-facilitator. John has had many years of experience working in the solar field and is currently working with the ARC Center in Harlem, NY, developing a program to manufacture UL approved PV modules.

Soni Biehl, treasurer of the Maine Solar Energy Association, will be the other facilitator. You may pre-purchase a 60-watt module for an additional $360.00. Participation is limited to 12 people per day. Those interested in starting a co-op or cottage industry are encouraged to attend.
