Rep. Camille “Bud” George (D-Clearfield) was again named Democratic Chairman of the House Environmental Resources & Energy Committee.
“Pennsylvania made great strides in the last two years breaking the mindset that environmental stewardship must come at the cost of economic growth,” Rep. George said. “However, much more needs to be done, especially seeing that Growing Greener II is put before voters in the May 17 primary so the Commonwealth can invest in its future through jobs and its communities by protecting and bolstering its natural resources.”
The Senate Democrats and House Republicans have not yet named their Committee Chairs.
