Canaan Valley Institute Seeks Watershed Resource Economist

Canaan Valley Institute (CVI) is seeking applicants for a watershed resource economist to be based in its Clearfield, PA office. This position will provide assistance to local watershed and community-based initiatives within CVI's service area including facilitation and problem identification; aiding local groups with solution development, delivering educational programs; and implementation strategies for watershed restoration and conservation that sustain both natural resources and economic growth.

Qualified candidates will possess: A Bachelors degree in economics or the natural sciences; Demonstrated experience working at the local level; Knowledge of and practical experience in watershed financial planning and/or watershed restoration. Significant travel throughout CVI's service area will be required therefore candidates should possess or be eligible to obtain a valid operators license and be insurable.
