The following bills of interest saw movement this week-- 

Senate 

Electric Contracts: Senate Bill 168 (Brubaker-R-Lancaster) authorizing purchase of electricity by boroughs was amended on the Senate Floor and was passed by the Senate. It now goes to the House for consideration. 

Open Space: House Bill 951 (Dally-R-Northampton) providing additional tools to acquire and hold open space was referred to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
