Marple Township Joins EPA WaterSense Program
Marple Township, Delaware County, is the newest member to join the WaterSense voluntary public-private partnership program launched as part of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's sustainable infrastructure efforts to help organizations become more efficient in water use and conservation.

Marple Township pledged to use water resources more efficiently, reduce water and wastewater infrastructure costs, prevent unnecessary water consumption, and use a list of WaterSense labeled products. WaterSense quality labeled products are 20 percent more water-efficient than similar products in the marketplace.

In Pennsylvania other partners include: Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority, Central Delaware County Authority, City of Philadelphia Water Department, North Wales Water Authority, the York Water Company as well as these companies: Alternative Energy, PlumbMaster, Inc. and Zurn Industries, Inc.

For a list of water efficient labeled products and membership opportunities, visit the U.S. EPA WaterSense webpage.
