Save The Date: 2010 PA Environmental Educators Annual Conference, Call For Presenters

The PA Association of Environmental Educators annual conference will be held March 11-13 at the Normandy Farm, Blue Bell, Pa. The theme of the Conference will be "A Sense of Place-Our Outdoor Heritage."

The keynote speaker for the event will be Dudley Edmondson authority of "Black and Brown Faces In America's Wild Places."

PAEE also issued a call for presenters for the Conference who can share successes, practical applications, environmental subjects enrichment and professional development to the environmental education community.

Presentation topics could include: conservation education, natural history, early childhood and environmental education, leadership and organizational development, the arts and environmental education and agriculture now and the past.

Proposals will be reviewed for content related to practical applications for the formal and informal educational use, learner engagement, inquiry process, hands-on activities, service learning, or integrated instruction and professional development.

All proposals will be considered for: relevance to theme, high quality based on best practices, delivery to the targeted audience, and developmentally appropriate practice.
