The U.S. Department of Agriculture this week awarded more than $11 million through the National Integrated Water Quality Program to address critical water resource issues including water quality protection and water conservation, including a $240,000 grant to Penn State University.
The funding to Penn State will support Youth Water Education in Pennsylvania Priority Watersheds. The NIWQP supports research, education and extension projects and programs that address critical water resource issues in agricultural, rural and urban watersheds.
