Session Schedule The Senate is now on a six-hour call by the President Pro Tempore, but is not expected to return until December 1.The House is scheduled to return to voting session on November 16, 17, 18 and December7, 8, 9,14, 15, 16. The Senate also released its initial 2010 session schedule-- January 5 (non-voting), 25, 26, 27

Calendars House (November 16): House Bill 80 (Vitali-D-Delaware) expanding the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards and authorizing a carbon sequestration network. Committees House: the Local Government Committee meets to consider Senate Bill 168 (Brubaker-R-Lancaster) amending the Borough Code to authorize certain purchases of electricity. Bills Introduced The following bills of interest were introduced this week-- Billboards: Senate Bill 1139 (Leach-D-Montgomery) amending the Municipalities Planning Code to all municipalities to restrict the size and location of outdoor advertising. Billboards II: House Bill 2085 (Adolph-R-Delaware) amending the Municipalities Planning Code to all municipalities to restrict the size and location of outdoor advertising. |
