On the Senate/House Agenda/Session Schedule/Bills Introduced

Here's the latest session schedule, Senate and House Calendars and Committee schedules--

Session Schedule 

The Senate is now on a six-hour call by the President Pro Tempore, but is not expected to return until December 1. The House is scheduled to return to voting session on December7, 8, 9,14, 15, 16. 

The Senate also released its initial 2010 session schedule--

Calendars

House (December 7): House Bill 80 (Vitali-D-Delaware) expanding the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards and authorizing a carbon sequestration network. 

Committees 

Next week is Thanksgiving and then the opening of deer hunting season follows. 

Bills Introduced 

The following bills of interest were introduced this week-- 

Mandate Reductions:
House Bill 2081 (Rohrer-R-Berks) would suspend state mandates on local governments if the state does not provide the resources to fund those mandates. 

Natural Gas Buses: House Bill 2103 (Marshall-R-Beaver) requiring certain bus routes to replace diesel buses with natural gas-fueled buses.
