Annual Awards Program Honors Individuals For Stewardship- ClearWater Conservancy
The ClearWater Conservancy recently recognized a number of individuals for their environmental stewardship.

Joe Humphreys
- The George Harvey Memorial Spring Creek Heritage Award: Given jointly by ClearWater Conservancy and the Spring Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited at Spring Creek Day. Awarded to Joe Humphreys in recognition of his life-long commitment to Spring Creek through fishing, teaching, mentoring, and advocacy.

Elsa Lisle
- The Donald Hamer Leadership Award: Named in 2005 at ClearWater’s 25th Anniversary to honor Don Hamer for his leadership legacy to ClearWater Conservancy. Awarded in memory of Elsa Lisle in recognition of the conservation easement she placed on her beloved land along Spring Creek in Lemont and her generous bequest to ClearWater Conservancy.

Joe Bishop- The Barbara Fisher Volunteer of the Year Award: Named in 2005 at ClearWater’s 25th Anniversary to honor Barbara Fisher for her 25 years of dedicated and passionate service to ClearWater Conservancy. Awarded to Joe Bishop in recognition of his service to ClearWater Conservancy on the Board of Directors, as initiator and co-chair of the Otto’s Golf-Fest, and as our all-around Geographic Information System guru.

Joe serves on ClearWater’s Land Conservation & Stewardship Committee and lends his expertise in GIS, biodiversity, and birds. He is also at many ClearWater events supporting the other volunteers and promoting the organization.
