PA CleanWays To Serve As Interim Management For Keep PA Beautiful

PA CleanWays and Keep PA Beautiful announced that PA CleanWays will serve as interim management of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful. Shannon Reiter, will serve as Interim Executive Director of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful will maintain its affiliation with Keep America Beautiful and continue its program work, including the Great American Cleanup of PA.

In a Memorandum of Understanding agreed to on November 18, 2009, both boards of directors agreed to work towards a merger in 2010 and in that integration create an organization that serves the people of Pennsylvania better in the shared environmental mission of both organizations.

“PA CleanWays, as a founding member of Keep PA Beautiful and a lead coordinator of the Great American Cleanup of PA, is committed to ensuring the continued success of the Keep PA Beautiful mission in Pennsylvania,” explains Reiter, President of PA CleanWays. “We look forward to working with Keep America Beautiful, as well as the many partners that make up the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Alliance.”
