Session Schedule The Senate is now on a six-hour call by the President Pro Tempore, but is now not expected to return until December 15 and 16 and then adjourn for the remainder of the year.The House is scheduled to return to voting session on December 7, 8, 9,14, 15, 16. The Senate also released its initial 2010 session schedule-- January 5 (non-voting), 25, 26, 27

Bills Introduced The following bill of interest was introduced this week-- Local Tax Exemption for Renewable Energy: House Bill 2109 (Hornaman-D-Erie) providing temporary exemptions from local taxation for Tier I alternative energy sources-- solar, wind, low-impact hydropower, geothermal, biologically derived methane gas, biomass, fuel cells or coal bed methane. |
