The Department of Environmental Protection  published a notice extending the date for registration for residual waste permits under WMGR097 and a final guidance policy on pre-coal mining surveys of water supplies (PA Bulletin page 6828).  The State Board for Certification of Sewage Enforcement Officers announced the  2010 examination schedule.

Final DEP ID: 563-2112-606. Procedures for Establishing the Quantity of Water in Low-Yield Wells. Surface and underground coal mine operators are required to conduct premining surveys of the quality and quantity of the water supplies that may be impacted by mining operations.
