McKeever Environmental Center Hosting Winter Tree ID Workshop

The McKeever Environmental Learning Center in Mercer County is hosting a Winter Tree ID workshop on January 22 for environmental educators.

Through the use of a dichotomous key, participants will ID trees by bark, buds and twig characteristics. Mark Bodomer, a Forester with the DCNR Bureau of Forestry will be the presenter.

The cost of the workshop is $25 and includes a tree ID CD and lunch. Participants are eligible for Act 48 credits.
