PA CleanWays and volunteers from Cornell Abraxas and Fulton County Probation Department as well as local residents, removed and properly disposed a total of 2.32 tons of illegally dumped trash and recycled 50 tires from an illegal dumpsite along Frank Road in Thompson Township.

This was the second cleanup along Frank Road this year. The first cleanup occurred in April with a total of 2.90 tons of trash removed and 50 tires recycled.

The Frank Road cleanups were a huge success because of the dedication of the volunteers and the support from Weaver Sanitation, Sandy Run Landfill, PA CleanWays of Fulton County, Fulton County Conservation District, Giant Foods, the Department of Transportation and Thompson Township.
