House (January 25): House Bill 80 (Vitali-D-Delaware) expanding the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards and authorizing a carbon sequestration network.

Senate (January 25): House Bill 1609 (Freedom-D-Lehigh) further providing for the definition of traditional neighborhood within the Municipalities Planning Code. 

Committees 

House: Consumer Affairs Committee hearing with the Public Utility Commission. 

Bills Introduced 

The following bill of interest was introduced this week-- 

Mining Bonds: Senate Bill 1176 (D.White-R-Indiana) requiring adjustments to mining reclamation bond amounts by regulation. The amounts are now set by action of the Department of Environmental Protection.
