Susquehanna River Heartland Coalition Science Of Marcellus Shale Program Jan. 29

On January 29 the Susquehanna River Heartland Coalition for Environmental Studies will present "The Science of Marcellus Shale," a summit focusing on the academic research underway on the Marcellus Shale natural gas formation and the environmental implications of its development.

The summit will be held at Lycoming College in Williamsport from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Sessions at the program will include geology and drilling, geo-chemistry, water withdrawal and water treatment.
