Environmental Muster Planned To Build Marcellus Shale Coalition January 30
|

PennFuture is organizing an environmental muster in State College on January 30 to help build support for a coalition promoting the natural gas severance tax and other issues related to Marcellus Shale drilling.
The meeting will be held at the Nittany Lion Inn starting at 10:00 a.m.
Attendees will hear from legislative leaders on the severance tax, a briefing on the challenges of managing gas drilling on state forest land and how volunteers are becoming watch dogs on the drilling industry.
The cost to attend the event is $10.
