Mid-Atlantic Aquatic Invasive Species Panel Invites Grant Proposals

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Panel on Aquatic Invasive Species this week opened its limited Small Grants Competition to encourage groups and individuals to submit proposals for eradication, monitoring and education projects.

Proposals are due April 2.

Up to $50,000 is available for projects of between $7,000 to $10,000 each. Any individuals in federal, state, provincial or local agencies, institutions of higher education, commercial or non-profit organizations, professional, lake, landowner, and watershed organizations and international organizations are eligible for funding as investigators or cooperators.
