4 Former PA Governors Will Headline PA Bookstore Events
Former Pennsylvania Governors-- Dick Thornburgh, Tom Ridge, Mark Schweiker, and U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, the son of late Gov. Robert P. Casey-- will be featured as part of the State Bookstore's 2010 lecture stories at the State Museum in Harrisburg.

The series will begin on Feruary 24. Former Gov. Thornburgh will discuss his autobiography, "Where the Evidence Leads." Thornburgh devotes six of the twenty chapters to his years as governor. The book also offers many insights into politics at the state and national levels.

The series will continue on April 21. Discussing the Quecreek Mine accident and recovery, former Gov. Schweiker will address the Commonwealth's capacity to help local communities respond to emergencies and to meet the security challenges in the post-9/11 era.

Dates for former Gov. Ridge, who will address his book, "The Test of Our Times," and U.S. Sen. Bob Casey, who will discuss his late father's book, "Fighting for Life," will be announced.

Each presentation will start at 12:05 p.m. in the auditorium of the State Museum and will conclude with a question-and-answer period and book signing.
