TreeVitalize Pittsburgh Tree Planting Applications Due March 26

The TreeVitalize Pittsburgh Planting Program supports street tree, park and riverfront plantings by supplying trees and limited services to help prepare planting locations within the City of Pittsburgh, in City and County parks, and along riverfront trails.
Applications are due March 26.   All City of Pittsburgh neighborhoods are eligible to participate in TreeVitalize.
Submitting an application does not guarantee your group will receive trees. Funding for seasonal plantings is limited. Eligibility and selection criteria are described in the downloadable documents below.
The application for Fall 2010 TreeVitalize plantings is available online. The City of Pittsburgh Tree Request form is also required.
Contact Jeff Bergman at 412-586-2396 or send email to: jbergman@paconserve.org  to discuss your community’s goals and preparedness.
