RFP For Alternative Energy Credits Administrator Services Issued By PUC

The Public Utility Commission issued a request for proposal for the services of an Alternative Energy Credits Administrator this week.
The services of a credits administrator are needed to assist the Commission in the Implementation of the Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act of 2004, as amended.
Among the services included in the RFP are the verification of electric distribution company and electric generation supplier compliance with the minimum portfolio requirements of the AEPS Act, the calculation of Tier I requirements on a quarterly basis, the review of applications for alternative energy system status, and the response to inquiries about alternative energy credits.
The Commission seeks the services of a credits administrator beginning in June 2010 until December 31, 2013, with the option for two, one-year contract extensions.
Contractors should submit bids for the entire period from June 2010 through December 31, 2013. To be considered, the proposal or any addendum thereto must arrive at the Issuing Office, the Bureau of Conservation, Economics and Energy Planning, on or by March 29 3 p.m.

A mandatory proposers conference will be held on March 4 at 1 p.m. in Executive Chambers, on the third floor of the Commonwealth Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Issuing Officer Williams will take questions.
The pre-proposal conference is for information only. Any verbal responses furnished during the conference will not be binding until they have been verified, in writing, by the Issuing Office. Prospective proposers can attend the pre-proposal conference by teleconference.
